glitch when deleting notes

1 Attachment(s)
When I delete notes and create a resting measure my 2 page composition turns into 4 pages with the 2nd page with one system on it , page 3 looks like the attached screen shot and the rest of the composition on page 4. I then have to undo the deleted notes to get back to the normal 2 pages. Sometimes I can delete the notes in a measure without that happening, but if I move to the window view and then back to the page view the same thing happens. Please advise.

A day has passed and now this glitch is happening when I do a variety of changes - like change a lyric or a font size etc. attached another view zoomed out

No follow up, so I asume this might need a reinstall?
