Question on writing trill
I need help on this, having spent the whole afternoon figuring it out, and did not find anything that helped me in the Help Manual.
How do you notate a double stop trill, and also with a double stops turn at the end of it? eg. double stops (both half note with a dot) A and G trill, ending in double stops GG, BB. AA. |
Re: Question on writing trill
Hi,
I'm not sure how that's notated - any other violin players out there who know? You may want to do an internet search, or see if you can specifically find a violinist who would know. Good luck! Sherry |
Re: Question on writing trill
I have never heard of this term. However you can often get better trill sound using the trill icon over a note "tr" not "tr plus the wavey line". You can also use "tremelo" . I have also used demisemiquavers notated using semitone separation to create trill. The combinations are many and worth exploring.
