To add a new stave where you want it to be.
 

Hold Control button and click on the first bar of the stave under which you want your new Part to be. A blue highlight patch will appear. Then click on "Add new Stave" (staff)
Your new stave will appear below the one you selected.

Thanks.....all done and dusted two years ago........I have been away....from the forum that is!

Thanks to Notation composer and the support from everyone and in particular Sherry Crann, (Three bows and a salute!) I have now been able to get to the stage of posting my own compositions for digital download at:
