Repetitive notes don't sound - FIX
Hi friends,
This post was inspired by this post about a bad template. Sometimes you may have a file you've found or that you've created that has consecutive notes of the same pitch that don't sound properly. This may be caused by the situation that note-off and note-on events occur too closely together. If you have files that have this problem and you want to "rescue" them, you can try the following: 1. Open the song file in Notation Composer - you'll need to do this for each song, as you can have different adjustments for each song, but the steps are shorter for subsequent files :)Enjoy, Sherry |

Holy cow (and I'm not even Hindu)!
I've been a Notation Software user and beta tester since before there WAS a Notation Software and I've never seen that option before! Very useful. Thank you, Sherry. How many hours have you spent digging into every nook and cranny of this software? David |
Re: Repetitive notes don't sound - FIX
Hi David,
Well, to be honest, my best "immersion" was actually reading through, testing, and editing the entire first iteration of the Users Guide. Mark was extremely thorough in documenting how to use everything, and I tested it all :) Since then, part of my job has always been reviewing features and testing them when we made changes to the software. How many hours? Hard to say - but I still enjoy it :) ttfn, Sherry |

Hi David (and others),
Perhaps I should start a section on "little known but useful bits" about the software to include stuff like this? ttfn, Sherry |
