Edelweiss Duet
1 Attachment(s)
"Edelweiss" was written by Richard Rogers & Oscar Hammerstein II in 1959 for the musical "The Sound Of Music".
This is an easy duet for players who are learning to read, and a pleasant one for all others. This duet is a bonus duet for the month. Those who frequent this sub-forum will undoubtedly know that I write two duets a month for my wife, Cynthia. When Cynthia was just beginning to learn to read music, we were only playing together in unison and therefore many of the songs she learned to play in the beginning were never put in duet form. As a requirement from my Queen, I, the Court Musician, will write two her two new duets a month. Therefore, making a duet out of one of her old solo pieces could not be considered a new song for the month. So, from time to time, I will be creating a bonus duet from her earlier repertoire, as time allows. If you would like to see the lyrics or the chords, you can use Composer commands to display them: for lyrics use qsl; for chords use qscn. Ralph R. Rayner |

Hi, Ralph:
You get to be the Court Musician? I'm rarely higher than Court Jester. Court Concrete Layer today, though. :) David |
