Grace Notes at the end of a bar
Hi there
My first post so not sure if I'm doing this the right way. I am transcribing a band score which is in 6/8 time and one of the bars has a dotted minim plus 4 grace notes (following the minim. I cannot seem to work out how and even if I can notate this correctly. Please can you help me. Many thanks, Jane |
Re: Grace Notes at the end of a bar
Hi, Jane:
Sounds like a delayed turn. You can add such under the Ornaments toolbar (tr with a turn sign under it), or (from the Ornaments toolbar) select the note and type "ta". That will give you the original note plus a turn sign ("~") after after it. If you wish to display the actual notes, then select the turn sign and click on the "X with four 16th notes" symbol or select and press backspace. Good luck. David |
