I have no idea what this procedure would be called, so I didn't search for it. I'm sorry if this is a double post.
Is there a way to double both the total measures and the note length without having to go through and manually change each note? I've got a piece that goes up to three bars in some places, but goes really slow. I want it to look simpler, i.e. have the eight notes be quarters, the sixteenth eighth, etc. Then I can increase the speed so it will sound the same. Also, I have another part I want to combine with it that has the length doubled, and they're incompatible right now. Thanks! |

I was just about to post a request for exactly the same feature - so a "me too please" vote on this one. It would be so very useful to be able to do this during composition when things can change so much. By the way, if it is implemented I think it should be possible to go ether way ie double the durations or half them.
Ideally if it could be for a selected (highlighted) number of bars up to the entire piece would be excellent. regards to all. -johnsm |
