Thanks for that. File extensions arew switched off by default in Windows 7. I've switched them on and thats fine now.

Recent used file list

Sometimes a file is loaded as a .mid file and then saved as a .not file with the same name. When using the recent file list it would be helpful if the file extension could be added to the file name...
