A first MusicXML import package is available in alpha status qualty for the next version 3 as of Dec. 17th, 2016 . There is still some work to be done for a beta version where we will involve people...

We will get back when we will have a beta that is worth for testing. But it will still take some time (status of Jan. 2016).

Yes, MusicXML import is our next major feature enhancement in version 3. We already have a prototype running. As of today (Jan. 2016) I cannot announce a firm date when this feature will be available...
