Mid files with lyrics are loaded ok with composer but can you tell me if composer is designed to recognise any other types of midi messages (other than time signature, tempo and key signature ).

Band-In-A-Box and Real Band are both by PG Music and have an Audio Chord Wizard. Load an mp3 file chords are worked out.:)
