Default Re: toolbar missing items

Hi,

I think I just answered this same question at the helpdesk, but just in case, here is the pertinent information:

Please check the View menu, and make sure that there is a check mark beside "Show main tool bar." This will show all the tools for any of our products, and the Metronome will show up for Notation Musician and Notation Composer.

If you are using Notation Player, it is intended solely for playing .mid files you have or find, or .not files that have been prepared by other Notation users. It is sort of analagous to the Adobe Acrobat Reader - you can read the files, but you are limited the functionality of what you can do with those files.

If you want to do any editing (arranging parts, changing the tempo, Practice Sessions, etc.) then you'll want to try out Notation Musician (www.notation.com/NotationMusician.php) or if you want to add notes and do more extensive performance arranging, Notation Composer (www.notation.com/NotationComposer.php)

ttfn,
Sherry
