It's already there If it's not working for you, the option may be turned off (it should be "on" by default). You can fix that by doing the following:

1. Open any file.
2. Click on a note, which puts a "Note" item on the menu bar.
3. Click on the "Note" menu item, and at the bottom of the command list you'll see "Enable dragging of note pitches". Make sure that is checked - if it's not, click it to turn it "on".

Now when you click on a note, it will be selected and you can drag it up/down to change the pitch of the note.
