Hi, Martin:
On both the splash screen and the File menu lists, with my setup, the extensions are shown.
In the splash screen list, the full path is also shown.
I don't see any option to turn file extensions on or off, so I'm not sure why yours doesn't show them.
Not a lot of help, but some clarification, at least.
