adding staves
I have a song where one verse has a repeat. one part plays an alternative line, while the other parts just repeat. I would like to have that one part have 2 staves so the players can use the same rehearsal markings and measure numbers in the repeated section. The rest of the song only needs 1 staff for that part. is there a way to add the extra staves to only the one verse? If I choose a region then add staves they get added to the entire song for that part and I cannot find a way to delete the staves where I do not need them.

Re: adding staves
Hi, Panworks:
You cannot delete a section of a staff, however, you can use "Hide Resting Staves" under the Format menu to show the staff only when you have content in it. You can use Layout/Page Layout and the various tools to separate or keep measures and staves together to adjust your printed systems until only the sections you want to appear do. Hope that helps.
