Some slash chords transpose incorrectly

I have a notation file in G major which has some slash chords. I have noticed that on transposing the whole piece to C major , slash chords like Am/C become Dm/C insted of Dm/F. It looks like this problem only occurs when the slash bass is C. Martin.
