1. Click the “Play or mute” button at the left of the score, to mute the staff. 2. Press Ctrl+z. The button changes back to play position, but there is no sound from the staff. The same is true for the “Solo staff while muting others” button. Best wishes, Herbert

The Mute and Solo buttons are not considered editing buttons, but "live" buttons, and therefore are not undoable. This is by design - they are simply "toggle" switches. ttfn, Sherry
