If you go to the SynthFont website "Downloads" page (http://www.saunalahti.fi/kru99/Downloads.htm), he has a really small GM soundfont (it's about 1 Mb) that you could use for testing purposes. It has a text link of "The smallest General Midi ("GM") SoundFont I know about", and is a little way down the Download page. The quality isn't the best, but the size should be quite manageable for testing purposes. ttfn, Sherry
