possibility to add notes to selection with keyboard?

Hello,
is it possible to add notes to the current selection using the keyboard? It is easy with the mouse, but it is an operation I do very frequently, so it would be nice if I could add notes by holding shift and arrow keys as in most applications, however this does not seem to work in Notation Composer?

Are there other keyboard alternative? Else I think this would be nice to add to the feature request list.

Hi Shelby,

It is not currently possible to add notes using only the computer keyboard. The current methods are:

• Mouse point and click
• "Live" recording (probably the most popular method) via MIDI instrument, either with a metronome or "metronomeless" and using the ReBar feature.
• "Step time" recording via MIDI instrument
