"Chattanooga Choo Choo" was written by Harry Warren and Mack Gordon in 1941.
This song was made popular by the Glenn Miller Band. It is arranged in swing tempo, so I have adjusted the attack and duration of the eighth notes to approximate this feel. There is quite a bit of syncopation in this piece - many of the eighth notes are off the beat attacks. It is a happy song, and Cynthia and I are enjoying playing it. We hope you will also. If you would like to see the lyrics or the chords, you can use Composer commands to display them: for lyrics use qsl; for chords use qscn. Ralph R. Rayner |
