Recent used file list
Sometimes a file is loaded as a .mid file and then saved as a .not file with the same name. When using the recent file list it would be helpful if the file extension could be added to the file name in order to distinguish them. Perhaps a tool tip is possible here. Thanks.Martin

Hi, Martin:
On both the splash screen and the File menu lists, with my setup, the extensions are shown. In the splash screen list, the full path is also shown. I don't see any option to turn file extensions on or off, so I'm not sure why yours doesn't show them. Not a lot of help, but some clarification, at least. David |

Hi Martin,
My guess is that it has to do with whether you have file extensions enabled on your machine. To enable file extensions to show on your machine, you can:

Thanks for that. File extensions arew switched off by default in Windows 7. I've switched them on and thats fine now.
