change key signature
I have a midi of a Liszt piece where he must've been teasing the living room pianist. Part of it has 6 sharps. I would like to change it to show as 4 flats (me, the Chopin player). Is there a way to do that?

Re: change key signature
Hi,
It sounds like you want to change the Enharmonic Spelling of the note (eg. F# to Gb). To change the enharmonic spelling of a note, you can: 1. click on the note to select it, 2. then press the "E" key on your keyboard (for "E"nharmonic) and press the Up or Down arrow key to show the notation as you want it. Enjoy Sherry

Re: change key signature
thanks, Sherry
actually, I found what I needed in another thread, shortly after posting this note - you double click on the key signature that is there, then select the new one. All the notes are the same, they are just displayed differently |
