Question Problem with selecting brace/brackets

Hello

If a composition once used brace or brackets (staff symbols), I've always problems to select or modify them later again. I recognized this problem in all composers since 2.5.x and for editing those brackets I have to use the composer 2.4.2 whitch does not seem to have this problem.

Is there any special trick for selecting brackets in composers 2.5.x?

With kind regards

Howdy,

You can still select the brace/bracket, but it is a more "picky" than previously. The following tips should help:
1. Zoom in on the score, so that the brace/bracket is larger.

2. Click and drag across the bottom of the brace/bracket - this usually will "pick up" the brace/bracket, and thereby select it.
I apologize for the inconvenience, and it is on our "fix it" list.

ttfn,
Sherry

Smile Re: Problem with selecting brace/brackets

Hi Sherry

Thanks for the fast reply.
The "click and drag" horizontally over any place over the brace/bracket from left to right or from right to left seems to work well.

Many thanks
