Default File Manager Icons Windows 7

I have associated .midi files with Composer 3 and (of course) .not files are already associated. However ,the icons in explorer for my Windows 7 setup show a default icon for .not files and a media player icon for .mid files even though both types open with Composer 3 correctly.

Default Re: File Manager Icons Windows 7

Hi, Martin:

Kind of odd.

Try right-clicking on a .not file and using Open With . . . / Choose Default Program to set Composer 3 (which on my computer is identified as Notation Composer (Notation Software Germany) as the default.

Same with a midi file.

See if that helps.
