Hi Ken,

That was a slip up for the Notation Composer 2.6.1 release, where some "in development" tab work slipped into the release. Those buttons are non-functional at this point, but you can consider it a peek into what's in store for some future releases

Sorry for the confusion, though - it will be removed in the next maintenance release.
