Every country recognises the circled C to identify that copyright applies to a composition.
Surely this would be a five minute job for your source programmer to effect in Notation Composer? I find it strange that it was never there ![]() |

In the mean time, you could use the "Character Map" accessory under Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools to copy and paste the © character.

Thanks for that suggestion which I did not know about previously. Since posting the thread, Sherry Crann did let me know this via other correspondence with the Notation Software company.
Another way of course would be to open up a blank page in MsWord and access the Symbol library there and copy and paste the © (which I just did) into the Notation Composer score. As one erudite scholar in history said, "So much to learn......so little time!" Mind you, all going well, many of us get 80 years in which to do just that.
