Hi, Mike:
Do you have ASIO drivers installed? If not, go to www.asio4all.com and install the universal ASIO driver there. Even though your "more powerful" computer may be newer, the audio card may not necessarily be better, especially if it's an on-board card. ASIO may solve the problem. Sherry is the Synthfont expert here. I don't use it myself, as I have to justify the stacks of keyboards around me to my wife -- "Oh, no! I really need this one! Just one more!" It's an addiction.
