A gift of music that you can give

Here is a powerful little video, by one of my favorite authors Oliver Sacks (check our his book Musicophilia) demonstrating the deep-seated connection we have with music.

I would encourage you that if you have a facility nearby and have the means (an instrument and/or your voice are all you need) to do so, make some music at a nursing home or assisted living facility near you. I know they're using iPods in the video, and that is powerful as you can see, but playing live music for these folks is good both for them and for you (I know, because I do this myself.)
