Just amazing. As always, I appreciate your musical contributions. I am listening to it with the MS GS Wavetable Synth. Any plans to use a VST instrument library such as JABB ?

Best wishes,

Herbert

Thank you, Herbert. I am off on an island by myself, except for my contact with Notation folks, and the Forum contributors like yourself. What would adding libraries do for me? Wouldn't the Notation files I post still be the same as they are now without me adding libraries? Or would it just be a matter of me enhancing my listening on my PC? As it is, I export my files to my Clavinova, which has a much better sound palette than my GM stock sound card. So, unless it would improve my postings, I probably don't need the extra add-ons. Interesting topic.

Ralph

Hi,

“Interesting topic” yes interesting topic. It would be good to also hear from other forum members on this topic.

The important and exciting part for me is the public performance. As you know, I produce orchestral backing tracks for vocalists, sometimes incorporating sound effects where suitable, to heighten the entertainment value. I strive for realistic sounds of the orchestral instrumentation. For the performances, I always use my own versatile, reasonably powerful sound system. This allows me some fine-tuning of the presentation. Though the audience is usually quite moderate in size, observing an enthusiastic and appreciative audience is rewarding.

Cheers,

Herbert
