Steptime Entry sometimes produces a Rest where a Note is wanted

Hi, Just to ask if there is a possibility to fix the Step Entry (Notes/Rest) bug yet?

I do hope so because, for my usage at least, Step Entry is effectively unusable because of the time I have to spend afterwards editing out the erroneous rests after a Step Record session.
