Hi Kombrig,

It is nice to hear from you again. I always enjoy listening to the music you present.

The Forum has gone a bit stale lately, I think, perhaps everybody is just to busy with Christmas preparations.

Should we start up another controversial discussion on some aspect of music, to inject some live into the forum?

My very best wishes to you for Christmas and the New Year,

Herbert

Default Hi Herbert, Thank you for upl

Hi Herbert,
Thank you for uploading the Christmas tracks complete with the Studio file. I got GPO and JABB for Christmas last year and after a few months simply put it aside. Because of your input, I am now back on the learning train. I can load your pieces and then analyze them to see first hand how everything was done and all the settings. That's exactly what I have been needing. I haven't been able to do much lately, but I can at least use some of my earlier tunes and work on them with the knowledge obtained from your pieces. Thanks again, and Merry Christmas.
Cheers,
Fred

Default Hi Fred, It is good to hear

Hi Fred,

It is good to hear from you. I hope Patsy and you are well.

You might want to join both files. It is important for these files, that for both Kontakt Players, under Options, CC#7/CC#10 is set on, for Volume and Pan. The delay between the Microsoft Piano and the other instruments can be compensated by setting the delay of GPO Studio: 1 and GPO Studio: 2 to a suitable value in Composer’s setup. The delay will depend on your driver. In my case 180 msec worked ok.

Best wishes,

Herbert

Default Hi Fred, Sherry, Thank you,

Hi Fred, Sherry,

Thank you, I am very pleased with your response to my Christmas Concert 2007.

Sherry you are right, there were a few tears by some folks remembering “the good old times” back home.

I am going to upload a .not file and .studio file under “Classical” to demonstrate the simplicity of using Composer together with GPO.

Best wishes,

Herbert
